Why this background belongs together

The through-line is a record that has to be complete before someone else uses it. That work started at the Philippine Statistics Authority, continued with vaccination records at the Department of Health, and then with biomedical equipment files at The Medical City.

Health Informatics Technology at Centennial College sits on top of a bachelor's degree in information technology. The dates and the duties are on the experience page. The order is what matters here: government data collection, then public health reporting, then hospital files, then the training that treats those files as something a report can be built from.

Tarlac State University, Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Cum Laude. That degree is the base: how a record is structured and how it stays findable.

Centennial College, Health Informatics Technology, GPA 4.06 / 4.50. The part that connects to the jobs is clinical workflow, healthcare analytics, SQL, and data warehousing. The program did not replace the records work. It is where a vaccination file and an equipment file stay tied to the summary that comes from them.

BERMS is that equipment file as an application. I designed and built it with Node.js, Express.js, and MySQL: inventory, preventive maintenance, service requests, and CSV reports. It does not store patient information, and it was not the hospital's system.

At the Department of Health in Central Luzon, incomplete or mismatched COVID-19 vaccination rows went back to the health unit before they were used in the regional report. The report was only as current as that follow-up.

At The Medical City in Clark, the equipment file was the source for the monthly report, the transmittal, and a request from another department. The person asking for a device status was not the person who kept the file. The record had to answer the question on its own.

Before the health roles, there were three separate assignments at the Philippine Statistics Authority: enumerator for the 2020 Census, registration officer for PhilSys, and statistical researcher on the Family Income and Expenditure Survey. They were short, and they were not the same job.

What they share is the point of collection. A census form, an identity document, and a household questionnaire had to be complete before they moved on. An entry that did not match the source was held back. That is the same rule I used later on vaccination rows.

The path covers collection, correction, and the report that follows. I have been the person at the household, the person sending a vaccination row back to the health unit, and the person pulling an equipment file for another department. Health informatics is the layer that treats those as one problem: a figure has to be traceable to the record.

The current job is customer service and cashier at McDonald's Canada in Toronto. On a busy shift the order, the cash, and the receipt have to match while the line is moving. It is the same demand for a handoff that is accurate in front of someone who is waiting.

Read together, the background is public health reporting, hospital administration, government data collection, health informatics, and operations work where a mismatch is immediate. That is a useful mix for reporting and operations problems when the data is still close to the people who produced it.
